Mr. Marty Thomas Buck, age 68, a resident of Chocowinity, died Friday, May 14, 2021 at his home.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Union Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 PM at the church.

Mr. Buck was born in Beaufort County on February 25, 1953.  He was the son of the late Walter Arlie Buck and Bernice Harper Buck.  Mr. Buck was a long-distance truck driver.  He was a member of the Union Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.

Mr. Buck is survived by two sisters, Mary Garris and husband, Phil, Juliette Sykes and husband, Joe all of Washington; one brother, Glavin Buck and wife, Janice of Chocowinity and numerous nieces and nephews.
