Williamston, N.C. — Mrs. Edna Hadley Keel, 91, died on December 2, 2021. Mrs. Keel had 25 years at Wal-Mart, where she retired. She loved her job and the people she met. Edna also loved gardening. She will be missed by family and friends.
Mrs. Keel is survived by 3 sons: Jerry Evans and wife Brenda of Washington, N.C., Steve Evans of Williamston, and Jeffery Evans and wife Carolyn of Williamston. She has 7 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Jan Hadley of Escambia, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Keel, her parents, Mamie Beddard and Claude L Hadley; a son, Randy Evans, a grand-daughter, Stephanie Evans. She was also preceded by husband Bertram Evans.
Visitation will be at Biggs Funeral Home of Williamston on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 12:30 until 1:30 P.M. A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. following the visitation.
