Myrtle Kay Manning, age 73, a resident of New Bern, NC died on Wednesday, December 8^th, 2021 at Carolina East Medical Center.

The family will have a private funeral service on Saturday December 9^th and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Kay was born on February 19^th, 1948 to Daniel Tuten Jones and Sarah Olivia Jones.

Kay is survived by husband of 36 years William Franklin Manning, sisters Melba Boyd, Gladys Mills and Mertie Buck, son Eugene McRoy and wife Renae, son Jason McRoy and wife Aja, stepdaughter Nancy Ann Ringgold and husband Terry, stepson Charles Manning and wife Tracey and grandchildren Kelsey McRoy, Blaney McRoy, JT Ringgold, Keith Paul Jr., Taylor Manning, Charles (CJ) Manning Jr., Dylan Wiggins, Ashley Bunting and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great grandchildren.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Doris Rowe and brother Daniel Junior Jones.  She was also preceded in death by husband Blaney Kenneth McRoy.
