Family, friends, and associates of Dr. Charles O. Boyette, the former Beaufort County Community College Foundation board chair, Belhaven mayor, and award-winning country doctor, came together to dedicate the conference center at Beaufort County Community College in his honor.
The Dr. Charles O. Boyette Conference Center is used for most large college gatherings, including banquets, award ceremonies, graduation ceremonies, student activities, guest speakers, and line dancing classes. During the spring of 2021, the Beaufort County Health Department used the room for its mass vaccination operations
