The Richland Seniors met April 5th with 21 members present and one visitor.

President Annette Kelly opened with the Pledge of Allegiance,
Jonell Barber gave the devotion and led the Lord’s Prayer.

Secretary/Treasurer Lib Litchfield called the roll, read the minutes and gave the treasurer’s report. She also asked all to stay after lunch to stuff Easter eggs for the upcoming community egg hunt.

Kurt Hendrick, Recreation Director, stopped by to thank the club members for doing the eggs and all the other things we contribute to our community.

A special thank you to our visitor Laura Jordan for volunteering to help with the eggs.

Lillian Hooker donated a speaker system for our club. Many thanks to her as it was badly needed.

Members discussed upcoming daytrips. Alice Briley is making plans for a June trip to The New Bern History Museum and the Palace Gardens followed by lunch at Dawson’s Restaurant, located on the waterfront located behind the Museum.

Patti Straker, Mallard Apartments manager, is making arrangements for the Vidant Mobil Wellness Unit to come in the near future.

Kathy Newman is checking with Snowden School for small items that may be needed that we can help with.

President Kelly closed the meeting and Jonell blessed the food.
