Edward “Eddie” Windley
July 18,1944 – April 8, 2022
Raleigh, NC- On the evening of April 8th, 2022, Eddie passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Born in Washington, NC, the oldest of 6 children of A.T. & Salathiel Windley.
Eddie is survived by his loving wife, Delores “Dee” Windley; children, Karen Blalock, Michael Windley (Courtney) and Matthew Windley (Cheri); 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; and 5 siblings.
Donations can be made to www.openarmsworldwide.org in his memory. A funeral was held on April 13 at Ephesus Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC. A graveside service was held on April 14 at Oakdale Cemetery in Washington, NC.
