Mrs. Lois Jane Brooks Slade, age 87, a former resident of the Terra Ceia Community of Pantego, NC, and currently a resident of 109 Cedar Circle, Washington, joined her husband and other family members in heaven on Saturday May 14, 2022, at her home in Washington.

A funeral was held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday May 17, 2022, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington.  Burial followed in Pamlico Memorial Gardens.  The family received friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday May 16, 2022, at the funeral home and other times at the home of her daughter, Barbara Hardison, 109 Cedar Circle, Washington.
