Update: Arrest made in the May 15, 2022 shooting incident in Washington N.C
On June 23,2022, Markis Allen was arrested by members of US Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Greenville NC. Allen is being held on a $550,000.00 bond for the Washington NC charges and a federal detainer for escape.
