Morning Rotary

The Washington Rotary was happy to have Dr. Matthew Cheeseman, Superintendent of Beaufort County Schools, join us as our guest speaker Wednesday. He spoke about the challenges the school system faced through COIVD-19 and the time following the pandemic.

He gave his thanks to Washington’s Rotary Club for their support during the midst of the pandemic when students without wireless internet access when the schools had to turn to remote learning.

We do hope he will join us again soon, as he leaves great insight on what’s currently happening within the school system. We have speakers each week sharing information about our community and encourage you to join us!

Washington Rotary has an open invitation for anyone who would like to join us for a meeting, or get involved with our community. Weekly meetings are held at 7:30 a.m. at King Chicken.
