Mrs. Lorraine Heath Clark, age 76, a resident of Chandler Road, Vanceboro, died Saturday, January 28, 2023, at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington.

Mrs. Clark was born in Pamlico County on May 13, 1946. She was the daughter of the late William Earl Heath, Sr., and Mary Annalene Ensley Heath. Mrs. Clark retired from Food Lion in 2004. She later worked part time at Clark’s Kiddie Corral in Chocowinity. She was a member of Union Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. In her spare, Mrs. Clark was an avid reader. Her grandchildren thought she was “the World’s Greatest Grandma”.

Mrs. Clark was married to Darrell Thomas Clark, Sr., who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Clark is survived by her son, Ricky Dwayne Clark and wife, Sherry of Chocowinity; grandchildren, Danielle Jordan and husband, Austin, Taylor Dwayne Clark and partner, Tara Wilkerson, Alexandra Clark, Dakota Smith; great grandchild, Charlotte Jordan; adopted son, Robert Wayne Smith, Jr.; sister, Carolyn Rowe and husband, David; brother-in-law, Lonnie Taylor; and sister-in-law, Sylvia Heath.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by a son, Darrell Thomas Clark, Jr., brother, William Earl Heath, Jr. and sister, Linda Heath Taylor.

The family will receive friends at other times at the home of her son and daughter in law, Ricky and Sherry Clark, 2344 Gray Road, Chocowinity.
