The Washington Noon Rotary Club welcomed author and retired U.S. government International Humanitarian Senior Advisor Susan McIntyre to Monday’s weekly meeting at the King Chicken Banquet Hall.

Ms. McIntyre, a Chocowinity resident, helped advise international humanitarian efforts in 17 different nations including Ukraine. According to Ms. McIntyre, it is vitally important NATO countries help protect a “free Ukraine” from the current Russian invasion, otherwise Russian President Vladimir Putin would next direct an attack on nearby Baltic countries.
