Joseph Jordan, age 69 a resident of Pinetown, NC died Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at his home.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 1, 2023 in the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and will be officiated by Harris Ray Alligood. The burial will be private.

Mr. Jordan was born in Beaufort County on May 5, 1953 to David Earl Jordan and Joyce Taylor Jordan. On June 25, 1971, he married Louise Rose. He was an avid golfer, gardener, hunter, and fisherman. Mr. Jordan was a member of First Baptist Church in Smithton.

Survivors include his wife, Louise R. Jordan of the home, his daughter, Jessica J. Adams and husband Scott of Pinetown, four grandchildren, Jordan Rose and wife Katie of Virginia Beach, VA, Blake Brown of Chocowinity, Peyton Adams and wife Sara of Bath, Mallory Adams of Pinetown, two great grandchildren, Eva Adams, Emma Adams, his mother, Joyce T. Jordan, a sister, Sherry Modlin of Pinetown, and a brother Tony Jordan of Washington.

He is preceded in death by his father, David E. Jordan.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday, March 31, 2023 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at his home.
