David Stanley Hopkins, Jr, age 92 a resident of Kill Devil Hills, NC died Sunday, May 28, 2023, at his home.

No services will be held.

Mr. Hopkins was born in Beaufort County on February 6, 1931, to the late David Stanley Hopkins and Blanche Foster Hopkins. He grew up on Pamlico Beach. Mr. Hopkins enjoyed working, oystering and spending time with his sons.

Survivors include two sons, Jon Stanley Hopkins of Kill Devil Hills, and Wayne Hopkins of Washington.

He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Linton Hopkins, and a sister Ruby Hopkins Sadler.
