On Oct. 24, Tyrell Blount turned himself in without incident at the Beaufort County Magistrates Officer for outstanding warrants.  He was charged with Assault With a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill, discharging a firearm in the city limit, and possession of a firearm by felon.  He is currently being held under a $50,000 secured bond for an outstanding probation violation and under no bond on these charges pending first appearance before a Beaufort County Judge later today.

The victim in this incident has been release from the hospital with minor injuries.
