On Tuesday, Feb. 6,  Mykal Coleman was arrested and confined to the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $75,000 secure bond.

Coleman has been charged with two counts of Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill and Going Armed to the Terror of the Public.

The Washington Police Department would like to thank everyone who assisted in this case including the citizens of Washington and the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.
