Former Northside standout and current Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo started Sunday’s NBA All-Star game in place of injured Philadelphia 76er’s center Joel Embiid. The former Pinetown resident hit a three-pointer and grabbed two rebounds in the East’s 221-186 victory over the West. It was Adebayo’s third All-Star appearance and first start.
