The newest additions to Moss East are well underway, as construction is proceeding at warp speed on four Chandlery Cottage Homes. The new homes are all part of the envisioned master plan of the area by Beacon Street Development. They bring a new dimension to waterfront life and focus on living not larger, but lighter.   “We did something similar in the first phase of the Moss Landing Harbor homes project, where we built cottage-style homes along Water Street,”  said Kendra Lobos, sales broker with Beacon Street Development. “We have listened to our customers, taken the best of our learning, and applied them to our latest offerings. It provides yet another option for customers who may not have the timeline to build a custom-built home from scratch or don’t want to build at all. The Chandlery Cottages offer them yet another option for entering this beautiful waterfront community.”

Each cottage home has approximately 1,800 Sq. Ft. of heated space which is intentionally built around comfortably scaled living and stylish simplicity. The open floor plan offers 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths along with an added ground-level flex space for a third bedroom, office, workout room, or whatever one might imagine. The signature components are the large covered front and rear porches, which serve as a true extension of the home and offer plenty of entertaining space. “Teaming up with our newest partner, Homes By Dickerson, we’ve combined charming exteriors with beautifully designed interiors, all set in the vibrant riverside surroundings we all know well,” said Lobos. “Each home offers the same floor plan, but the interiors and exteriors are unique to each one based on the color choices. Another unique feature is that they come equipped with an elevator shaft. If someone comes in early in the build process, they can have work completed in advance, or they have the option of adding the elevator down the road. In addition to the Chandlery Cottages, there currently are seven other homes under construction and one other that has been finished and is owner-occupied. Several other lot owners are currently finalizing plans to begin building.
