At approximately 6:30 a.m. this morning officers with Washington Police Department and Washington Fire Rescue responded to the city boat docks in reference to a possible body in the water.

Upon arrival officers located a 54 year old male subject in the water.

The subject was pronounced deceased at the scene. The investigation is on-going but foul play is not suspected.

The identity of the subject is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
