Mrs. Lillian “Tot” Price Cooper, formerly of Metro Housing Apartments, Washington, N.C., died Sunday, July 26, 2009, at Nash County Rehabilitation Center, Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, August 1, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Triumph Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. William Whitehead officiating. Burial will follow in Dickens Family Cemetery.
Mrs. Cooper was born October 20, 1928 to the late Joe and Estella Wilson Price. She attended the Pitt County Schools. She was married to Elliott Cooper who preceded her in death. She was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church, also on the Mother Board, and with the Prayer Warrior Team.
Survivors include: three sons, Rev. Raymond Earl Price of Rocky Mount, N.C., Richard Green of Jacksonville, Florida, Linwood Green of LA, and three daughters, Barbara Jean Anderson of Willingboro, New Jersey, Linda Green of Apex, N.C., Ada Estella Green of Elizabeth City, N.C.; one sister, Rebecca Price Little of Newport News, Virginia; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her siblings: Lucille Clemmons, Ida Askew, Mae Warren, Mattie Gibbs, Delzora Price, Minnie Floyd, Joe Richard Price, Matthew Price, Willie Price, Earl Clinton Price and Raymond C. Price.
The family will receive friends Friday July 31, 2009 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Leon Randolph Memorial Chapel and other times at the home of her cousin, Paula McCullough, 514 N. Gladden Street, Washington.
Arrangements are by Leon Randolph Funeral Home, 208 West Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington.
