Mr. Murry Hassell “Bill” Askew, 83, of Plymouth, died Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville. A funeral will be conducted today at 11 a.m. in Maitland Memorial Chapel, Plymouth, with the Rev. Tim Lichtley officiating. The family will receive friends at the home. Arrangements are by Maitland Memorial Chapel, Plymouth.
