Panel tackles Alzheimer’s disease

The East Carolina University’s Lifelong Learning Program is offering a panel discussion on Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia and available resources to fight them. The session will be held from noon until 2 p.m. April 17 at the Cypress Glen retirement community auditorium, 100 Hickory St., Greenville.

A physician and other professionals focusing on the disease will provide information about its physiology, the latest research and treatment and resources available to caregivers.

Preregister is required by Thursday.
