Charlie Hopkins, Sr., 88, a resident of 300 Minuteman Lane, Apt. 108, Washington, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, at home. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at Word of Life Worship Center, 4449 Market St. Ext., Washington. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Washington. Elder Lenard Hopkins will be officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of his son, Charlie Hopkins, 3455 Pungo Creek Road, Pinetown. Arrangements are by Bonner Street Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington.
