GOOD JUDGEMENT: Meldrick Chavez-Ruiz received the character education award for the elementary level of Beaufort County Schools. The character trait for this month is Good Judgement. Ruiz, a first grade student in Monica Davis’ class at Eastern Elementary School, received this recognition for always being a good friend by always including others when playing a game, helping them with reading and following the rules of the class.
