BCCC welcomes visitors for IM FITT walking trail

BEAUFORT COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE | CONTRIBUTED THEY’RE FITT: Beaufort County Community College welcomed 28 visitors from the Grace Martin Harwell Senior Center in Washington who took an inaugural walk on the college’s new IM FITT walking trail. Portions of the trail, including fitness stations, places to rest and signage, are still under construction but the group took a walk along the 1-mile track around campus. The stop at BCCC was part of the center’s Mystery Day Trip earlier this week. The visitors were led by Grant Writer Sara Singleton. Funding for the Interactive Multipurpose Fitness and Interval Training Trail, or IM FITT, was provided by a $150,000 grant from the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust.
