WILLIAM EARL PORTER

William Earl Porter, age 75, a resident of Gray Rd., Chocowinity, NC, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital. William Earl was born in Beaufort County on December 27, 1938 son of the late William Henry Porter and Lucy Carson Porter. He lived in Beaufort County his entire life and was a self-employed welder.

William Earl is survived by his daughters, Tina P. Taylor of Cove City and Becky A. Porter of Washington; his brother, David Ray Porter of Chocowinity; his sisters, Doris Bright and Audrey P. Cherry both of Chocowinity; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

There will be a celebration of his life from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, today, at his home, 2522 Gray Rd., Chocowinity, NC.
