DIANE EDWARDS SHOW OF SUPPORT: Twelve brokers from Coldwell Banker Coastal Rivers Realty visited Fish Hooks Café in Belhaven last week as part of an initiative to help boost business for downtown proprietors who were closed during the recent flooding caused by several storm systems. Many restaurant and shops, especially those located on Main Street, were closed for at least two weeks. As a result, they experienced significant revenue loss that impacted the owners, as well as their staffs, employees and vendors. The initiative is calling for everyone to support these businesses through your patronage, gift certificates and by shopping at the boutiques.
