Mary Louise Holman

Mary Louise Holman, age 77, of Athens, Alabama, passed away at her residence on March 28, 2016. She was born on Oct. 26, 1938, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Mrs. Holman was a member of the Church of Christ at West Hobbs Street and Seven Mile Post Road.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cloyce and Jewel Johnson; husband Joe Mitchell Holman, and grandson Andrew Dake Weatherford.
Mrs. Holman is survived by one son, Mitchell Clay Holman, (Sharon) of Savannah, GA, two daughters, Jodi Melane Beene of Florida, Mary Lynn Weatherford, (David) of Athens, Ala.; nine grandchildren, Taylor Mills (Jon), Hailey Morrow (Michael), Heather Jiles (Brad), Brittany Holman Harte (Simon), Nathan Holman (Chelsea), Nicholas Holman, Samantha Holman, Lyndsey Weatherford and Gracey Weatherford; six great-grandchildren, Adelaide Jiles, Vivienne Jiles, Juliette Jiles, Kinsley Mills, Tucker Morrow and Asher Morrow; one sister, Carolyn Harris (Larry) of Memphis, Tenn., one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David Holman (Leslie) of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and one sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jane Simmons (Steve) of Columbia, Tenn.
The service for Mrs. Holman will be Thursday, March 31, at 2 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Keith Davis and Bill Irby officiating. Visitation will be from12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Thursday in the chapel, with burial at Roselawn Cemetery.
