CHOCOWINITY — Mrs. Margaret Estelle Forrest, 72, died on Thursday, October 18, 2007.
A graveside service will be conducted on Sunday at 2 p.m. in Pinewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Forrest, a native of Pitt County, attended the Pitt County Schools. She was a resident of the Blounts Creek community for many years.
Mrs. Forrest was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Franklin Forrest, in 1999.
Surviving are: daughters, Delores Forrest Dixon and husband, Steve, of Greensboro, Jo Forrest Puckett and husband, Ray, of Summerfield; One son, Ollie Franklin Forrest Jr. and wife, Linda, of Greensboro; Grandchildren, Mark Dixon of Durham, David Dixon of Arlington, VA, Scott Brady of Greensboro; Great-grandchild, Olivia Dixon of Durham; Special friend, Louis Broughton, of Blounts Creek.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Richard Merrill and the many nursing staff members caring for Mrs. Forrest while she was a patient.
