Saturday marked the official launch of the Pamlico Rose Institute for Sustainable Communities’ Rose Haven with a presentation about the restoration of a historic property and a project that will offer housing and community reintegration for female veterans. Rose Haven is the first phase of projects that focus on building sustainable housing and communities for veterans. The public, and project stakeholders, gathered at the future Rose Haven on West Third Street  in Washington for the presentation and following reception.
