Johnnie Ray Coward, 61, of 209 Mitchell St., Cove City, died Monday, March 19, 2018, at CarolinaEast Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2018, at God’s House for All Peoples, 479 Whitfield Drive, Kinston. Burial will follow in the Ewell Cemetery, Vanceboro. A public viewing will be held from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018, at the funeral home. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Mt. Mariah Missionary Baptist Church, Cove City. The family will receive guests at 1311 Wilshire Court, Butterfield Estates, Kinston, where they will assemble in preparation for the funeral service.
