Billie “Carol” Stonecypher Morris

Ms. Billie “Carol” Stonecypher Morris, age 52, a resident of U.S. Highway 264 East, Washington, died Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at UNC Burn Center in Chapel Hill. A private memorial service will be held later.

Ms. Morris was born in Norfolk, Virginia, on Jan. 1, 1966. She was the daughter of Carolyn Mae Stonecypher Woolard and the late Claude Luther Robertson. Ms. Morris worked as a sous chef for many years. In her spare time, she loved cooking, entertaining and the outdoors.

She is survived by her three sons, William A. (Billy) Moore II and fiancée Victoria “Aiko” Dills, Blade Ambrose Morris and fiancée Brenda Carraway, and Dakota Stone Morris, all of Washington; daughter, Tommi Mae Morris and fiancé Shane Polk, of Statesville; mother, Carolyn Stonecypher Woolard and husband, Lonnie “Pop,” of Pinetown; brother, Wayne Fisher and family, Leigh and three children, Evan, Isabela, Jakob, all of Bath; two stepsisters, Tina Alligood and husband Keith, Heather Brock and husband Chris, all of Washington; a stepbrother, Lonnie Woolard, Jr. and wife Amy, of Washington.

In addition to her father, Ms. Morris was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Morris, in 2009.
