Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Handsome with his white spotted shorthair coat and listed as a 2-year-old, American pit bull terrier mix, Wilson loves attention and treats. This large, sweet boy will do best with a loving, attentive, active family who will spend time with him, give plenty of regular exercise/play — preferably in a fenced area or on a leash — give him obedience training and, of course, a good forever home.
