Vestie Lee Smith Spencer, born Dec. 12, 1935, in Bath, entered into rest on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019, at Melech Hospice House, Temple Terrace, Florida.

Survivors are, her daughter, Sharon (Michael) Rollins, of Tampa, Florida; three sisters, Min. Carolyn (John) Rogers, Chocowinity; Sarah E. Smith, Washington; Mazel (Joseph) Boston, Washington; six brothers, Floyd (Mary) Smith, Washington; Oscar Smith, Yonkers, New York; Melvin (Verna)Smith, Washington; Joseph (Barbara) Smith, Virginia Beach, Virginia; Franklin Smith, Greenville; Charles (Lorena) Smith, El Paso, Texas.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1, 2019, at World Outreach Evangelistic Church, 3521 Jack Kelley Road, Augusta, Georgia. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Road, Augusta, Georgia.
