Mr. Archie Reid Myers Jr., 68, a resident of John Wright Road, Lexington, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was born Nov. 27, 1951, in Guilford County, the son of the late Archie Reid Myers Sr. and Opal Lee Lucas Green.

He was a graduate of Chocowinity High School and attended Davidson County Community College. Mr. Myers worked with Multicam Inc. out of Atlanta, Georgia, and he attended Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church. He loved spending time in the outdoors and loved fishing, hunting and woodworking. He also loved traveling to the beach and mountains.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffery Odell Myers.

He was married Oct. 4, 1991, to Mitzi Rezanka Myers of the home, who survives.

Also surviving is one son, Jeremy Lee Waisner and wife Sara, of Winston-Salem; one daughter, Amanda Leigh Waisner, of Lexington; two sisters, Ellen Lee Seuberling and husband Mike, of Oak Hill, Florida, and Kristy Blaine Milholin and husband Don, of Greensboro; four nieces and nephews.

Mr. Myers will be cremated, and there will be a memorial service at a later date.
