Mrs. Tessie McNeal Mann Davis, 51, of 24545 U.S. Highway 264 East, Pantego, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008, at Pungo District Hospital in Belhaven.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Macedonia Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ), Pantego, with Elder Donald Peartree officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Davis was born in Harrisburg, Pa., on Dec. 26, 1956. She was the daughter of the late Luther B. and Willie Mae Burrus McNeal. She was a graduate of the class of 1974 at Mattamuskeet High School in Hyde County. She did further studies at Beaufort County Community College in nursing assistance. On Sept. 6, 1998, she married James Thomas Davis, who survives. She was employed in healthcare services at Pungo District Hospital in Belhaven and Britthaven Nursing Home in Washington. She was a member of Macedonia Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ).
Survivors include one daughter, Patrice Mann of Grimesland; one son, Donell Mann of Wendell; two stepsons, Sean Davis of Pantego and Toshua Davis of Norfolk, Va.; one brother, Ronald McNeal of Scranton; two sisters, Diane Rodgers of Washington and Lucinda Lovick of Scranton; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends at the home.
Arrangements are by Randolph Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington.
