Mr. Jason Michael Godwin, 26, of Maysville, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008, at home.
A funeral will be conducted today at 2 p.m. in Grants Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. William Ray Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Seaside Memorial Park in Swansboro.
Mr. Godwin was the son of Grover Michael Godwin Sr. of Swansboro and Cindy J. Richardson of Maysville. He was a veteran of Iraq, having served in the Army.
Survivors include one son, Jacob Michael Godwin; one daughter, Riann Renee Godwin; two sisters, Kristy Hairston of Sneads Ferry and Ashley J. Godwin of Swansboro; maternal grandparents, C.D. and Mary Bennett of Maysville and maternal great-grandmother, Myrtle Lee Altman of Maysville.
Arrangements are by Jones Funeral Home of Swansboro.
