Mrs. Gladys Stalls Knox, 91, of 1000 Western Blvd., Tarboro, died Tuesday, March 4, 2008, in Golden Living Center.
A funeral will be conducted today at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Biggs Funeral Home, Robersonville, with Warren Grubbs officiating. Burial will follow in Oak City Cemetery.
Mrs. Knox was born in Martin County on July 28, 1916. She was the daughter of the late Jack Stalls. She was married to Grover Knox, who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Hamilton Church of Christ.
Survivors include three sons, Elmer Knox and Grover Knox, both of Tarboro, and Jessie Knox of Monroe; two daughters, Retha Knox Bryant of Tarboro, and Jeannette Warren of Gold Point; one brother, Thurman Stalls of Robersonville; one sister, Evelena Kreicar of Petersburg, Va.; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at 19805 N.C. Highway 903, Robersonville.
