Mrs. Evelyn Marie Lilley Harrell, 65, of Washington, died Sunday, June 15, 2008, at Beaufort County Hospital in Washington.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Pamlico Memorial Gardens with pastor Shad Watters officiating. Wade Lilley, Paul Glisson III, James Eakle, Matthew Mayo Lilley III, J.R. Harris and Donald Bortz will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Harrell was born in Beaufort County on Oct. 1, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Matthew Mayo Lilley and Martha Elizabeth Taylor Lilley. She worked at Ridgewood Manor Nursing Home in Washington as a housekeeper until her retirement.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty H. Windley, Loretta Harrell and Elizabeth H. O’Brien, all of Washington; four brothers, Floyd Lilley of Chocowinity, Russell Lilley of Pinetown, Alton Lilley of Washington, and Wade Lilley of Bath; two sisters, Debbie Bridgeman of Washington and Shirley Mizell of Williamston; one half sister, Helen Allen of Newport News, Va.; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1-3 p.m. at Hillside Funeral Service, Washington.
