Mrs. Lillian Woodley Herrington, 95, of Virginia Beach, Va., and formerly of Plymouth, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church, Plymouth, with the Rev. Jimmy Hagwood officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Herrington was born in Washington County on Nov. 6, 1911. She was the daughter of the late John G. and Minnie Basnight Woodley. She was married to Ephrium H. Herrington, who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Plymouth.
Survivors include one daughter, Ramona H. Dawson of Virginia Beach, Va.; one son, H. Jerry Herrington of Acworth, Ga.; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Callie W. Ward, Stella W. Phelps, Selma W. Alexander and Edna W. Phelps.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 1-2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Plymouth.
