Think Pink

If your boss hasn’t agreed to participate in Paint the Town Pink October 12, ask why.
Paint the town Pink is a simple way to impact the health of Beaufort County women. All of the proceeds are used to support breast screenings and early detection programs in Beaufort County.
At participating work places, employees who make a donation are permitted to wear jeans and pink T-shirts to work. Businesses can get in on the act by offering discounts to patrons wearing the shirts.
For the fourth year in a row, the folks at Eastern Radiologists have organized the event.
You can contribute to the worthy cause by picking up a shirt, pin or ornament from the Washington business.
A list of Pink Partners will appear in the Daily News Friday, October 12.  Be sure to thank them for supporting women in Beaufort County by participating in the event.
Pick up your T-shirt at Eastern Radiologists, Inc., 630 East 11th Street, or at the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center, 628 East 12th Street in Washington. The Washington offices are selling pins and ornaments for $5 and pink t-shirts, $12 up to size XL and $14 up to size 3X.
