Washington police arrested and charged a local man with felony breaking and entering and larceny for a break in that happened in September 2012.

Jason Scott Mitchell, 25, of Cherry Run Road, allegedly broke into Andy’s Restaurant at Washington Square Mall one night and stole an undisclosed amount of money, according to Lt. William Chrismon, spokesman for the Washington Police Department. Chrismon said that Mitchell was a former Andy’s Restaurant employee who was no longer employed there at the time of the theft.

Mitchell was held at the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $10,000 bond.
