Master Gardener plant sale set

NEWS RELEASE_PLANT SALE_webThe sixth-annual Beaufort County Master Gardener plant sale is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon April 20 at the Cooperative Extension Center.

The center is located at 155 Airport Road, Washington. It is next to the McConnell Sports Complex. Sales are cash or check only.

Shop for locally grown annuals, perennials, shrubs, herb and bulbs for your garden. Find many beautiful, handcrafted garden crafts for sale, including garden-theme yard-sale items. You may renew your subscription to Carolina Gardener.

Proceeds from the event will be used to create and enhance horticulture education projects such as the Community Garden, the demonstration gardens at the center and workshops for the gardening public. The goal of Cooperative Extension Service and the Master Gardener program is to develop an educational environment that will benefit all Beaufort County residents.
