October’s Character Education recognizes students who show good citizenship. Ruth Miller’s sixth grade art class at Bath Elementary School works cooperatively in her class. Miller says their behavior is well regulated and as a group they are very kind, considerate and supportive of their peers. After completing their studio work, these students initiate classroom chores, volunteering their time and energy to help maintain the art room. This class is an exemplary community of good citizens and a pleasure to teach.
