FUTURE LEADER: Basharah Gaskins, a recent fourth-grade graduate of Chocowinity Primary School, is one of the recipients of the 2015 Leadership Award, presented during the school’s Moving Up ceremony in June.
“Basharah is an excellent example of leadership in the classroom; she is always willing to assist me, as well as her classmates,” said teacher Deena Warwick. “I can count on her to be my ‘mini’ teacher at any time. She has not only assisted me greatly this year, but she also assisted a second-grade class. The teacher she worked with always had positive comments about Basharah’s enthusiasm to assist the younger students.”
