CHOCOWINITY PRIMARY SCHOOL LEADERSHIP: Walker Hill, a recent fourth-grade graduate of Chocowinity Primary School, is one of the recipients of the 2015 Leadership Award presented during the school's Moving Up ceremony in June. Pictured with him is Keyshawn Gibbs, a kindergarten student he mentored this year. "Walker is a natural-born leader; he is strong-willed, confident and self-assured," said teacher Cameron Hill. "On the other hand, he is patient, kind, cooperative and even-tempered. Walker demonstrates wisdom beyond his years by knowing what is appropriate at the appropriate time and then by acting on that knowledge. I feel certain his ability to discern these things will continue to be of great value to him in the future.”
