A Message From Beaufort County Emergency Management:

Beaufort County Emergency Management is asking all motorists who do not live in the flooded areas to please stay away from them. Wave action from vehicles is causing unnecessary damage to flooded property. Extra traffic in flooded areas also is hindering the efforts of property owners to relocate their property to higher ground. Thank you for your cooperation and respect for others as they are dealing with these flooding issues.
