U.S. FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE DANCE OF DOMINANCE: At Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge, two young black bears go through a playful-looking dance of dominance. Rolling, tumbling and standing on hind feet are all activities that are a part of a young bear's development. The refuge has one of the largest concentrations of black bears in the Southeast. Bears can look cute when playing, but one should always keep one’s distance and be cautious around them.
