The million dollars being spent by the city for an airport terminal could be better used to buy the Turnage Theater, which would help the economy of Washington rather than the airport terminal that would not.
I was just wondering if the NASCAR race results could be put in the scoreboard along with the ball scores.
One method for county commissioners and the Washington City Council to find out what citizens’ concerns are would be to have booths at the Washington-Beaufort County Business Expo. Just standing by several of the booths and listening to some of the discussions was informative, enlightening and sometimes amusing.
The performance sponsored by the Beaufort County Concert Association recently at Washington High School was eclectic and extremely entertaining. The talented 42Five young men were energetic, multitalented, personable and creative. Thank you, BCCA.
The Turnage Theater would be wonderful for one of these mega-churches with a large population.
