To the Editor:
I believe that you have done the residents of Beaufort County a disservice in printing the sample ballot only the day before the national Election Day. Early voting took place for several weeks before the final election day and there was no sample ballot available for those voters. Also, the individual articles about local and state candidates were not available in the paper before early voting started. In many cases, information that early voters might have needed to be better informed was not available to them through the paper.
It is my hope that, in the following years, early voters have the same information that you printed in the paper the day before national elections.
