Sound Off highlights anonymous, brief takes on the news offered via telephone by Daily News readers.
Another Thanksgiving hiding from the family, playing hide and seek from a bunch of people that I’m related to, but have little or nothing in common with. Why pretend for such a made-up greeting card holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas? I don’t.
Thank you for the follow-up story on the tragic tale of young mother that was ran over on 264, or John Small Avenue. It was a sad, sad tale, but it was news and you actually had the news and then you had the follow-up story. I think you deserve a pat on the back and I am one of your harshest critics. I have complained for years about the marshmallow news. You have got this right. Now, maybe a third story about why was she walking and where was she going.
